Jason Varitek’s Wife Actually Filed For Divorce Because He Can’t Hit a Fastball
September 11, 2008 0 Comments

Official legal documents were acquired today which stated the details of the separation between Boston Red Sox catcher, Jason Varitek, and his wife, Karen.
The most interesting point in the draft was that “Ms. Varitek has tried unsuccessfully coming to terms with the fact that Mr. Varitek has been unable to hit a fastball by any Major League Baseball pitcher for the past fourteen months.” The couple have been married for eleven years and were hitched in 1997 and they have three children.
While this isn’t nearly the buzz created by Alex Rodriguez and his wife Cynthia Rodriguez and the Madonna mess redone over and over it will certainly get the gossips in Boston talking. Additional points mentioned in the divorce documents included “Mr. Varitek is unable to get on his knees anymore” and “Damn, that Jacoby Ellsbury is hot!”
